Niebla Logo
I was asked to design a logo for Niebla, a Latin music band based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before reaching out, they initially explored AI-generated logo concepts, but the results were overly simple and lacked the character and authenticity they were looking for. Niebla means “fog,” and the band wanted the conga drum to feel as though it was emerging from it. To convey that idea, I created flowing organic swirls to suggest fog in motion, while giving the logo a more expressive feel. The image below shows the AI-generated logo, along with three of my initial sketches.
